Match Rifle Imperial Meeting – The Elcho

At the end of the Match Rifle section of the Imperial Meeting, the four home nations compete for the honours of The Elcho Shield. This is a competition of teams of 8 shooters each firing 15 shots at each range (1000, 1100 and 1200yards) with no sighters allowed as a true test of the marksmanship of each nation.

This competition is tradiationally followed by a reception and prize giving for all the competitions in the Match Rifle Imperial.
